Detroit French Film Festival
Join us this November for an enchanting cinematic journey at the Alliance Française de Detroit's French Film Festival! This year's festival will showcase a selection of exceptional French films that span a range of genres, promising to captivate audiences of all ages.
Our lineup includes the swashbuckling adventure "The Three Musketeers: D'Artagnan," a thrilling tale of heroism, friendship, and intrigue set in the vibrant world of 17th-century France.
Experience the power of music and determination in "Divertimento," a story that celebrates the passion of two sisters as they navigate the challenges of the classical music world.
For the young and young-at-heart, "Le Château des Singes" (A Monkey's'Tale) offers a magical animated journey into a world where courage and curiosity lead to extraordinary adventures.
Meanwhile, "L'Argent de Poche" (Small Change), directed by the legendary François Truffaut, captures the joys and tribulations of childhood in a small French town, reminding us of the innocence and resilience of youth.
Whether you're a long-time Francophile or new to French cinema, our festival is the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in the language, culture, and storytelling traditions of France.

Before each movie, we invite you to enjoy a fun social time where you can mingle, chat, and meet fellow movie lovers. With your ticket, you’ll receive one drink and one popcorn—on us!
(one soft drink or one glass of White, Rosé or Red French Wine selected by Rochester Wine Shop (must be at least 21, ID required)
There will also be additional goodies available for purchase, so come early and enjoy the full experience. Plus, if you're looking to practice or enjoy some French conversation, this is the perfect opportunity!
Doors open about 30 min to 1h00 before showtime. Please arrive early as we will screen the movies at the set time. We can’t wait to see you there!
